How pricing, payment authorization, billing details, and approved refunds are handled through Shopify Checkout.
Currency and Order Total
Store prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless Shopify Checkout identifies another applicable presentation. The final order total shown at checkout may include product charges, shipping, taxes, and discounts when applicable.
Payment Methods
Only payment methods displayed in Shopify Checkout are available for a transaction. Availability can depend on store configuration, delivery location, order details, and payment-provider requirements.
Payment Processing
Payment information is submitted through Shopify Checkout and processed by the applicable payment provider. Trading Places does not ask customers to send complete payment-card details by email or through a storefront contact form.
Authorization and Order Review
Submitting payment does not guarantee order acceptance. Transactions may be subject to authorization, fraud review, product availability, and applicable restrictions. An order may be declined or canceled when it cannot be completed.
Billing Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and contact information. Incorrect information can delay or prevent payment authorization or order processing.
Refunds
When a refund is approved under the published Return and Refund Policy, it is issued through the original payment method. Posting time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.
